Chapter 67

Melisa doesn't want to end up in that kind of situation where she is addicted to sexual interaction that Jovan wants to happen to her. This is so that she will easily obey him if he wishes to offer her to any man who is willing to pay in exchange for momentary consolation. That is what she thinks will happen to her if she cannot escape Jovan. Because of that thought, she plans to escape Jovan when it's time to go to work.

When evening comes, Melisa and Jovan prepare to work. Jovan accompanies her to the nightclub when her shift begins, then leaves her there. It will be his responsibility to report on his own work. He works as an errand boy and driver for Rowena, their employer. Before Jovan leaves Melisa he reminds her to wait for him when the shift ends.

"Lisa, wait for me when your shift ends. Don't go with anyone who offers you work. I don't want you to be in danger because of that." Jovan said, smiling.
