Chapter 194
Mason's POV
After about twenty minutes, I dry my hands on a towel and give Theo a look. “I’ll go grab her. Try not to burn anything in the next two minutes.” It's a joke, but also not, Theo has a tendancy to get distracted, hell a butterfly could be in the house and he'd be chasing it letting the house burn down behind him then he'd act all innocent, and say something like, I was only chasing the butterfly for a minute when it fact it had been an hour.
He doesn’t even look up. “Don’t rush her. She’s probably stabbing lace or hand-beading her emotions again.” I have to rush her, she needs to eat.
“She does have that haunted seamstress look when she’s in deep,” I mutter, chuckling as I head upstairs. It's the truth though.
