Valerie Will POV

I didn’t want to give Patrick the wrong idea by accepting the flowers, but I just wanted to be polite. I saw it as a nice gesture. I mean, he remembered my favorite flowers - lavenders.

As I drove away, I smelled the flowers and they brought back certain memories. I could remember when Patrick would bring flowers and presents to my trailer while I was on set.

Everything was so perfect. I always felt like the luckiest woman on earth. But I guess I ran out of luck. After reminiscing for a few moments, I put the flowers away.
