Ash's POV

As much as I wanted to say that my girlfriend was back to how she had been at the beginning of our relationship, I couldn't. That's because she wasn't back to being herself. I wondered if I was the only one who noticed it or maybe the others did but they were just trying to mind their business. 

She was always working. Even if I told her she did not need to stress herself this much because damn, her club had just opened but it was one of the most talked about clubs in the country already. She had celebrities even visiting and then she was planning to incorporate an Afrobeats night for Africans to enjoy.

And we all know not only Africans enjoy Afrobeats. I'm not that much of a fan of the lyrics but the beats always get me pumped up. There is something about it that always has you moving. 

I walked into her home office with a mug filled with hot chocolate. Riley just took it from me with a smile and I waited until she took a taste.
