Ash's POV

Riley wasn't the same Riley I knew. I knew she was sad, she is still sad. The night we got back from the hospital, she moved to the room and I could hear her quiet sobs. 

I know how badly she wanted a child of her own. It was the reason why I had even thought of trying for a baby with her. I could also imagine the pain she was going through but I wanted her back.

I had thought maybe she would get better with time. If only I was there for her even when she pushed me away. I thought that would be enough but I thought wrong. Riley wasn't getting any better. She moved out of the room we shared and started staying in the guest room. She had no idea that seeing her this way hurt me. She was moping and she had become a shadow of herself. And that was why I asked her sister and her friends to come help me help her because I was out of my wits.
