A shadow rose behind a tall tree by the wide clearing where Evan had just left. The shadow formed into a human figure and a pale being emerged from within the shadow. It was the subordinate vampire that followed Silas!

He'd seen everything that had happened just now as Edwina was attacked and taken away by the Normie who seem to have a hidden agenda.
