Chapter 35. Sorry, Ellie

Instead of going to the after-party intended for Ellie's celebration, she and Nathan went straight to the nearest bar.

Nathan couldn't stop Ellie from drinking too much. He thought she was influenced by westernized people because before, liquors were not in her vocabulary.

Nathan just watched her drinking as if she was drinking water. He decided not to drink, because he knew that if he would get drunk, the situation would just get complicated. He couldn't let her by herself especially in her current state now.

What if someone would approach her and would do horrible things to her? So it was better for him to just sat there, not drinking, and would be by her side until I could drive her home safely.

"Nathan, am I not desirable?" she asked out of the blue, leaning at the bar counter.

Nathan just shook his head. She was now tipsy. He didn't count how many shot glasses she had but he was sure it was outnumbered.
