Chapter 34. Truth Hurts

Allison didn't know how long Grayson hugged her. When he was done embracing her, Ellie and Brent's presence was not there anymore. Even their shadows couldn't be seen anywhere.

Allison turned her head down. Grayson reached for her chin and lifted it so that their eyes could meet.

"It's not love if you didn't feel the pain. But if the pain was too much to handle, you should learn how to let go, Alli. Because you will only gain so much pain if you will continue to give your love to the wrong person."

Allison removed Grayson's hand from her chin and turned her back on him. He was right. She was in deep pain because she love Brent unconditionally. Maybe she didn't know the reason, but for her, Brent was not the wrong person.
