Chapter 11

Emily’s POV

Elisa and I rushed to the hospital.

I couldn’t believe it! My grandmother, the one who always supported me, who always loved me and believed in me, is in a coma. I don’t want to lose her! Nope! Not her!

My tears keep flowing, I was in pain, I had already lost a precious being and I refuse to lose her too.

When we arrive at the hospital, we go to reception and ask for Grandma’s room. The receptionist takes her time and I had to threaten to punch her in the face to make her go faster. When she finally gives us Grandma’s room number, my sister and I run as fast as we can.

When we get upstairs, I feel my anger rising when I see my ‘very dear parents’ in front of Grandma’s room. Besides, when they see us, they rush towards us, or rather towards Elisa, with open arms.

“Elisa, my darling!” yelled my mother rushing to my sister.

However, Elisa pushes her away and looks at her with hatred and disgust.

“Elisa…”

“Don’t touch me!
