Emily’s POV

When I arrive at my sister and Hugo’s house, I waste no time and get out of my car. I enter the house without knocking, as usual. I frown when I hear shouts coming from the kitchen. I slowly walk over and my eyes widen when I recognize his voice.

“Elisa, it’s complicated, I told you.”

“What is complicated, Andrew? Stop looking for excuses to justify your asshole behavior! You abandoned my sister like shit!”

“I know! You don’t have to remind me a hundred times! But I needed to spend time with my daughter!” Shouts Andrew.

I freeze and my face crumbles. His daughter? He has a daughter?

“Does my sister know that you have a daughter with her worst enemy?” asked my sister meanly.

I put my hand over my mouth as tears stream down my cheeks. I feel a big dagger in my heart, but it’s Andrew’s words that finish me off.

“And you? Does she know that you’re just her half-sister and your slut mother killed her mom, who’s Sophia Collins?”<
