Chapter 41
Emily’s POV
A few days passed after my sister gave birth, she was released from the hospital only two days after giving birth to my godson. I visit them every day with a smile on my face. Ely, my little bundle of joy, is so spoiled. I bought him many gifts, which my sister didn’t really like, and she told me not to spoil him too much. My little bundle of joy makes me forget all my problems with his little chirps. He is so adorable.
“Emy? You come?” calls my sister.
“I’m coming.”
I’m careful not to shout too loudly. I head to the kitchen with Ely in my arms, asleep. My, my, my! I envy this baby so much! I caress his little cheek and smile.
“You pay more attention to him than to me, I’m jealous,” my sister jokes.
“Do you want me to caress your cheek too?” I joke around and we burst out laughing.
It’s Ely’s crying that stops us and Elisa quickly takes her son to calm him down. She also sings a lullaby that I know very well, the one Grandma used
