Chapter 38. Risk and Consequences

Alex made a reverse when he found out Maxwell was not in the office and drove to his house instead. It was not very far from the location of his office.

Bob had sent it to him once when he made a research on Maxwell and he was glad he looked through it. He knew it was unsafe and thought of going back but was too upset to just let it slide without confronting the god forsaken son of a bitch.

He did not need anyone to tell him, Maxwell was behind what has befallen his company and the bastard dared not even deny it.

The security at Maxwell’s house was just as tight as it was in his office. Alex scoffed and wondered why one man would need that much security. Did Maxwell think his life as important as that of the president’s to warrant that much protection?

He was escorted in from the gate into the big mansion by just one dark man who was as hefty as three men put together. The man asked him to wait in the large living room while he informs Maxwell of his arrival.
