Chapter 82. Warming Up

Jane did not know when she slept off and for how long while she waited for Dave to return. She had gone through the internet and most of the trending news was about her and Fredrick. She sighed and kept her phone away and slept off.

When she woke up, it was evening already. She stood up from the bed and her eye caught the food on the low stool beside the table. She need not anyone tell her Dave had returned and prepared the meal. She walked to the bathroom and freshened up.

She walked out of the room when she was done and searched for Dave. She was about walking out of the house when she decided the best place to look for anyone in a house would be their room first. So she walked back the stairs and knocked on his door. She waited for a while and there was no response. She was about knocking again when he flung the door open.

“Looking for me?” he asked. Obviously. Now that she had found him, she did not know what to say to him. Why was she looking for him again?
