Chapter 89. Not Ready

Dave stopped abruptly and Jane looked up at him sharply, her chest heaving against his body, wondering why he had stopped. He moved his hands out of her clothe where he had placed them on her thighs. She looked into his eyes and saw hesitation in them. She held him close to herself and nodded to him to go ahead.

She was not holding back herself, not with holding anything. She waited for him to make a move, her body arched for him. But Dave just stood there looking at her deep in the eyes.

“No…” he muttered and shook his head.

“But why?” she asked quietly, disappointed. She lowered her face against his body and he chuckled. He lifted her chin up with a finger.
