Chapter 87. Confessions

Jane waited for Dave to return till it was getting dark. She stood outside till she was tired. She walked back into the house and sat in the living room. She began to wonder where he had gone.

She had begun to fall asleep when the door opened and he walked in. She sprung to her feet.

“Dave I have been waiting for you. You left the house a long time ago and you are just returning,” she said looking concerned. “I was really worried.”

“You shouldn’t be. I am not a kid and I can find my way around,” he told her dismissively, walking to towards the room and leaving her in the living room.

Jane felt her heart burn. She could not take it anymore. What the hell does he take her for? She stormed to the room to find her belongings. They were not so many and every other thing there, he had gotten them for her and he could have it back. She did not need them.

She was going back to her house. She had had enough of the attitude. She stormed out of the room angrily, c
