Chapter 88. Unsettling Feeling

Isabella walked to the kitchen with hastened footsteps.

“Do you need anything ma’am?” Peggy turned when she heard her walk in.

“A very funny question it seems to ask but have you seen my husband?” Isabella asked looking serious. Peggy chuckled.

“Yeah you can laugh all you want Peggy,” Isabella frowned lightly at her.

“I am so sorry ma but it actually is a very funny question to ask indeed. Unfortunately I have been in the kitchen all day and I have not as much as have a glimpse of your husband.” Peggy told her. Isabella sighed and rested her hand on her waist.

“Is anything the matter?” Peggy asked her and she shook her head.

“Not really. He just disappeared and he did not tell me he was going anywhere,” Isabella said.

“Perhaps he just stepped out briefly?” Peggy suggested.

“He would not go out without taking his phone. That is unusual of him. His phone is inside.”

“I don’t think it is anything you should worry about ma’am,” Peggy
