Chapter 103. Bob’s Family
Alex leaned on an ironing board in the living room tiredly, feeling dejected and hopeless. The feelings were replaced by guilt. Taking a look round the room, he needed no one to tell him woman lived in it and that woman indeed had a relationship with Bob, his dead friend.
Bob’s pictures were hanged on the wall and some which he took with Riley. She was a beautiful woman with blue eyes and a warm smile.
What pained him more and pierced his heart was the baby stuffs he had seen. He did not want to conclude what he was thinking was what had really happened, but he had no other explanations.
“Where could she have gone?” Dave asked him the very question he was avoiding and Alexander sighed.
“I am sure your guess is as good as mine,” Alex replied, looking away. Dave hummed and paced around the room slowly, picking and dropping stuffs.
