Chapter 107. Convincing Lies
Mr. Sinclair fumed on the chair while he watched Maxwell speak on the phone with whoever it was he was speaking with that was definitely more important than he was.
Since he had walked into his office, Maxwell totally ignored him. It seemed he was invincible or something. Sinclair decided he had had enough.
He knew he had allowed Maxwell take over his company because he had to give the boy and his mother a reason to stay. He had thought he was going to use the influence of Maxwell to his benefit but it was very obvious that the boy was using him instead.
Not only was Maxwell using him, but he had returned him to almost nothing in his own house and company. Sinclair did not have a say in anything that happens and everyone only did what Maxwell said.
He had to take control of things now and make it clear that he was the one in charge. That was what it was meant to be. If he remained silent with the way everything was going he would lose everything to Maxwell.
