Chapter 106. James Is Hired

James had just retired for the day from work and was just about to get into his car when he received a call from someone he was not really expecting. Not that Dave could not call hum, but it might be because something had happened, after all the only reason they had known each other was because of that so it was unlikely he was calling him for pleasantries.

James closed back the door of the car and rested on it.

“Mr. Dave, it is nice hearing from you again,” he said into the phone cheerfully even though he was a bit stressed out from work.

“Mr. James,” Dave called. “It’s been a while. How have you been sir?”
