“If it isn’t my favorite person in the world,” Jane screamed, excitement clear in her voice.
“Yasss bitch,” Isabella felt Jane’s excitement, contagious and gripping. “Who’s the latest international model in town?” she placed a hand at the back of her ear, head inclined in Jane’s direction.
“Oh. I don’t know,” Jane feigned thoughtfulness. “Oh, wait. Me!” she announced.
The two burst out into laughter as they high-fived.
“Come in,” Jane squealed, pushing the door wider to let Isabella in.
The apartment was tastefully furnished with the most luxurious items, courtesy of growing up with a silver spoon and having a bank account with a large amount of cash simply sitting there.
