Bill’s POV
“I’ll get going once the nurse gets here,” Kate said.
“No, it’s all right, you can actually leave for classes,” I replied. “Thank you for the offer.”
“But it’s my fault you got hurt,” she said. “I should have watched where I was going.”
“Actually, it was my fault.”
“Oh, come on, it’s not like you wanted me to run into you on purpose,” she chuckled. “That would be very creepy and stalkerish.”
I don’t know why, but I had a feeling I shouldn’t tell her that it was on purpose to get a romantic flag raised with her.
