Audrey couldn’t tell Henry what his mother did because there was nothing to prove it, so she had to forget about it, though she was still scared that Madelyn might do something even worse than what she had done.

Henry had been showing her more affection than before, which gave her peace of mind that Madelyn couldn’t hurt her.
