Ryan didn’t answer; he kept watching the video over and over again. Then he paused it and zoomed in.
“Her face,” Ryan muttered.
“What happened to her face?” Audrey asked. She took the phone and checked the video.
“She has injuries on her face,” Audrey said.
“But how come I didn’t see it?” She wondered.
“That’s because you were scared. You didn’t wait to observe her body; you ran out in fear,” Ryan mocked, and she eyed him.
“For someone who is battling with her assassin mother-in-law,” Ryan mocked, trying to hold his laughter.
“You were scared of a corpse,” he added.
“Shut your mouth now before I help you with it,” Audrey said and huffed.
“The wounds look fresh, but I am very sure the corpse has been there for a long time. It was stiff,” Audrey explained.
“I touched it, and it didn’t move.”
“Stop stressing your brain. The only thing you can do now is to go back and observe the body,” Ryan said as she glared at him and
