Ellie’s POV
I walked out on James, leaving him at the parking lot, and headed for my office.
“You don’t walk out on me, Ellie,” James said as he followed behind me while I continued walking without stopping.
I noticed James’s footsteps drawing closer to me while I approached the lobby, he grabbed my wrist from behind, and I turned to face him.
“What do you think you are doing, James?” I asked trying to break free from his grip but his hand was held tightly around my wrist.
“What does it look like I am doing, Ellie? You can’t just walk away from me like that, I am not done speaking with you,” James said authoritatively.
“And who do you think you are to tell me what to do and what not to do?” I fired back immediately. At that moment I was beginning to lose my temper but I didn’t want to draw the attention of everyone who was at the lobby.
