Back at the office, everything was going well. My operations were going smoothly and all I could do was nothing but be bored.

I wonder if Ellie is still on the case and how far she has gone. I took out my phone to call her but then I felt it would be better to just go there instead.

I took out my keys and headed out, on my way I was met by my secretary.

“Sir you haven’t confirmed if you would be going to the gala, and also who would be your plus one. It’s two days from now and they would appreciate it if you replied to them,” she nagged.
