James’ POV

The confrontation with Ellie got a lot more intense drawing the attention of some of the guests who were present at the gala.

Evelyn who was already furious tried to calm the situation by trying to talk to me but I didn’t listen, I was more focused on what I wanted to do at that moment.

“James can you wrap this up and come with me, this is getting embarrassing and I wouldn’t want it to escalate into a more shitty situation,” Evelyn said calmly pulling me gently by my hands.

After Evelyn’s several attempts to pull me away from there, I remained adamant and unmoved without paying heed to her words.

“Leave now or else I will call the security on you,” Ryan who seemed to have grown tired and angry at the whole situation said seeing that it was going to escalate into something big.

“You will do no such thing, Ryan, I dare you,” I said angrily, clenching my fists together.

“Alright then, Watch me as I do,” Ryan said with a smirk
