When the music stops, he kisses my hand and then tries to pull me away. He can't, though, because that girl is already coming up to us with two drinks. She gets one, and he gets one.

"Don't," he tells me, even though he knows I am going to kill the woman (she is not doing anything wrong yet) or leave.

I cannot be mad at her because she is only doing what he lets her. There are times when I want to kill her but have no reason to.
