He explains his intentions to her, that he means well, but she's fearful and absolutely loathes him. At times, he comes close to catching her, but she escapes at the last second. Though, it starts to become clear to her that he'll catch her sooner or later. Eventually, he does end up catching her. She screams for help, and she receives it.
