Chapter 104. A Girl’s Feelings

Hunter’s POV

She stared directly into my eyes to make sure I was actually in my right senses. I’m pretty sure by now she really thought I was insane or being mind-controlled by someone.

Well, to tell you the truth, it was only until I found out I was a hybrid that I understood the relationship I had with other people, and I want to not lose those bonds. Thinking back to how I used to treat Holly in the past, I was rude and unfriendly… I want that to change; she was basically a friend and rival all the way from childhood.

I just wanted her to be herself. I didn’t mean to try and push her out of her comfort zone or anything. I just felt that she had room to grow like I did.

Her expression was of shock, and she turned away from me. “We should be going back to the house; mother and father will be worried…”

She then starts marching back to the cottage, and I follow behind her… Maybe it was too soon to say something like that; was I passing boundaries?
