Hunter’s POV

After my chat with my master, Holly sent a message through a carrier pigeon that my request to have an audience with the council members was accepted, and that I should meet them in a place away from the city. The particular place was very strange; it was a dome-shaped colosseum that had been used as a training area for young hunters. However, it was abolished after a rogue werewolf got loose and wiped out an entire platoon of rookies. Now, it was just a memory of what it once was—something dilapidated and old—but the black clay blocks and dark iron roofing used for it still stood strong.

I went in, and I was surprised to see all the council members standing on five different pillars, watching me.

Holly was the only one not holding her weapon.
