Chapter 108. Double Team

Hunter’s POV

“Wow, what a gentleman. I see why our dear Holy Knight likes you,” Archer said, smiling as she jumped down from the pillar.

“Hmmm, I wanted to see you a bit angrier, like the stories I’ve heard depicted you as an angry, crazy, and unpredictable hunter,” Tamer said, disappointed. What rumors was she talking about? I mean, I was rude in the past… I still kind of am, but I definitely wasn’t crazy… Well, crazier than I used to be.

“Hey, you two, focus! This is the last battle today. Settle this now so you can decide whether or not to support him!” Holly shouted at them again. She really seemed like a leader. It made me happy, the sight of her disciplining others despite how rowdy and spoiled she used to be as a child.

“Okay, anytime you two are ready to go,” I took back the dagger I had thrown at Lancer and was finally ready to fight. No matter how many people attacked me at once, I was ready to deal with them.

“Hahaha, I want to see you
