Chapter 159. Return to the Rejected Warriors

Charlotte’s POV

I woke up from what seemed like years to me; the Mandrake village was so welcoming, and their beds were incredibly comfortable.

I got out of the treehouse they usually prepare for guests and stretched my limbs, all my joints cracked like I hadn’t moved them for ages.

I entered back into the house after getting some fresh air and discovered my hair was a complete mess. My normal golden locks were now like raging snakes, it was so abysmal that I shouted, cracking the mirror slightly.

I got a brush and went to work on the mess. After about fifteen minutes of brushing, my hair was finally in its nice and curly form. I never saw the appeal of straight hair, it’s too hard to maintain, and also you’d need to be applying different kinds of soap to make sure it remains straight at all times. I couldn’t deal with that, I’d rather just keep it wild and wavy. Besides, my friends like it that way. Speaking of my friends.
