“Can’t you believe it?” she asked.

I couldn’t help but chuckle, but not to annoy her. I looked at Cole who’s behind Marjorie, “What did you do to her?” I asked him.

“Nothing. I swear,” Cole said.

It took me a minute to respond to them, I realized that Marjorie was waiting for my response. I decided to break my wall for her as I see the sincerity in her eyes.
