Claire’s POV

I decided to visit my parents’ house before meeting up with Luke to visit the place he mentioned the other day. I was driving carefully until I noticed a car behind me driving recklessly.

I slowed down the car to let the driver behind me pass first to avoid any accident when the car drove faster in my direction, thank goodness I was alert and eventually turned the car the other way and the car behind me slammed into the incoming car the other way.

The crash was too loud and that made the people around the area look and call 911 and the police. My heart was beating so fast as I got out of the car. I quickly called Caleb to pick me up because I almost had an accident again and I cannot manage to drive right away because I was so shocked.
