“You have one last chance to remember, or I’ll kill you right here,” I said to the man whose name was Hugo or something like that; I could not remember how many times the identities changed.
Hugo just answered incoherent things, and then one of my soldiers killed him without waiting for an order from me.
“What are you doing?” I asked, seeing such an unexpected scene before my eyes.
The soldier looked at me seriously and intently.
“It was not for me to decide, Your Majesty.” He bowed and then signaled to the other soldiers to finish off the rest of the addicts.
This confused me even more as blood flowed in streams across the floor, splattering everywhere and staining everything they touched red.
