When I woke up, Jacob had put the two babies next to me, which made me laugh a lot. One of them was pulling my hair, and the other was standing there staring at me with wide eyes.
“They want you to wake up,” Jacob joked as he brought me breakfast in bed.
When I saw the scrambled eggs, my stomach burst open. Although my body ached a lot, the delivery went better than I expected. The little one had managed to come out quickly, which saved me a lot of suffering. Apparently, he had come out on his own, contrary to what the doctor had said before. I was glad of that because I did not know if I would have been up to the challenge.
