I left the room as soon as Jacob arrived. Once in the nursery, I collapsed on one of the couches to get some rest. So be it, even if it was only for a few minutes. Expending so much energy on training had left me a bit tired. I wasn’t used to feeling so weak. I wanted to regain my strength immediately.
