Chapter 389. Unpaid Debt

“What are you saying?” I rolled my eyes, at least I could do that, even though I couldn’t move even a bit from where I was. “You’re so insistent that you make me feel sorry for you.”
I was standing, pinned to the ground, in the middle of the darkness. Zack’s crown shone on his head, causing a glare that hurt my eyes a little.
I wrinkled my nose at the strange smell I began to perceive. Zack walked towards me.
“Save him, that’s what I told you.” Zack stared at me intently.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I replied curtly, with disdain.
Talking to him was not at all pleasant. I didn’t like him being in my mind. Because he wanted to manipulate me, I could smell it. His sympathetic look was always used when he wanted something in particular.
“He’s, my brother. Even though things have happened between us, he will always be my brother…” he began to say, in a slow and calm voice.
