Chapter 47. Ghost Wife

Lucas couldn’t control his wolf rage. He became aggressive that he knocked the lady off her feet. He was about to pounce on her to tear her limb by limb when suddenly they were an energy blast from nowhere. The energy blast blasted him away sending him across the dumpster.

“Lydo, are you alright?” a voice asked.

Lucas peeked from the dumpster. His gaze was drawn to a tall pale-looking man in a flowing black gown and red cape. The man drew closer to help the lady up to her feet.

Lucas sprang back to his feet. He snarled and then growled at the man. He quickly conjured an energy blast and with haste, he fired it at the man knocking him off his feet. He does not have any idea of what he’s up against. He can’t hear the heartbeat of the strange man either.
