Chapter 61. Keep Running

The moon peeped through the almond tree leaves and faintly lit up the dark path ahead. Detective White cast a terrified gaze ahead. He focuses his gaze on the path ahead. He has been running for five minutes.

When things were about to get messy outside the Mystic cave, Bonnie opened a blue portal. She wasn’t thinking straight and this made her not focus on the path the portal would lead. She took hold of Detective White’s hand. ‘Lucas won’t forgive me if anything would happen to you.’ She pushed him into the portal.

Detective White thought his son was with Jones but it turned out to be a lie. Lucas was never taken along to the Mystic cave. When all the witches walked out from the Mystic cave as demanded by alpha Jones, Bonnie glanced around desperately in search of Lucas.

He was nowhere to be found. ‘You lied to us,’ Bonnie gnawed at the bottom of her lips.

Detective White couldn’t get hold of himself.
