Chapter 67. No Sign
Mrs. Willie broke down next to her husband and sobbed like a child. Every attempt made by Susan to calm them down proves impossible. They both cried noisily, making loud and convulsive gasps.
Bonnie approached Susan. “What do we do now?” she whispered. “Don’t you think we get Lucas involved?”
“Leave my son out of this,” Susan glared at Bonnie.
One disadvantage of scrying is that the person might be dead or moved before help would arrive. If Lucas happens to get involved, he would use his enhanced sense of smell to sniff out Jane out, whether dead or alive.
Mrs. Willie with a sob of despair threw herself on the flow. She rolled and rolled. Her heart groans in deep sorrow. The current incident pierced her soul deeply.
Mr. Willie was shattered. He couldn’t do more but crawl to console his wife.
