Chapter 86. Desperate Search

Lucas was still in the dark about the creature that just attacked him. He stared at his father with desperation. “We need to find it before it…”

“There’s no we, son,” Captain White interrupted. “You should be on your way to school. I will find that son of a bitch and gun it down.”

Lucas nods his head in total acceptance of what his father had just said but ignored his instructions and started walking out of his room.

His father followed him to make sure he was going to catch a bus before he start chasing after the unknown creature. He can’t drive him to school at the moment because of the creature roaming the street.
