Cassandra’s POV

I thought I would have the opportunity to hear Gabe out but he’s been busy ever since I told him I would listen to him later. Maybe he had gotten over it without my help but I was still a bit concerned because he wasn’t one to have a nightmare. I sighed.

“Cass, I won’t be done anytime soon maybe you should start heading over to meet Alexa now,” Daniel suggested. He was still trying as much as he could and what was within his power to save his face.

“It’s alright, I’ll wait here,” not wanting to leave him just yet.

“So how have things been going between you and Gabriel?” he asked awkwardly not knowing what else to say. “I haven’t seen him in a while now,” he added.

“Well, we did speak a few days ago and I was supposed to listen to his nightmare but I couldn’t,” I sighed.
