Cassandra’s POV

I changed my path and began to leg it to his dwelling.

I was torn between the alpha and beta. I liked them both. Might I say I loved them both? Surely, it was possible to love two people at a time. I didn’t want to let go of either of them. Maybe I could marry them both and have the two of them to myself.

I gasped loudly as the thought morphed itself in my head. ‘Have them both?’ What indecent thoughts! Maybe Samantha was right, maybe I was a slut after all. But I believe I still have a chance, at least I’m yet to let the alpha enter me.

As I got to his place, I saw Daniel storming out. He seemed really mad because as he walked past me, his biceps roughly hit my shoulder, and he seemed not to have noticed. I even called his name and he didn’t answer. It’s either he was so disgusted by my sight that he didn’t want to talk to me or look at me or someone in there must have made him really mad that he’s turned blind, deaf, and dumb.
