Chapter 61

Cassandra’s POV

Waking up the next morning, I began to prepare breakfast for us all. Alexa ended crying herself to sleep last night and I was determined today to get her to eat something. She couldn’t keep doing this to herself.

“Good morning,” I was surprised to hear Alexa’s voice. She stood by the door side, she didn’t look better but she was definitely better now, the crying had helped her allot.

“Good morning,” I shook off my surprise. “How are you feeling today?” she shrugged. She probably was still uncertain about her feelings.

“You should eat now, I’ll take care of mother. You don’t have to worry about her,” I served giving her food to eat. I stood opposite her and watched her eat, I had to make sure she would eat the food and she really was. I went in to meet her mom.

“Mother, it’s me,” I knocked on the door before coming in. Sitting down beside her, I began to feed her when she began coughing out blood. I immediately felt alarmed.
