Cassandra’s POV

I was so relieved and it put me in a good mood that at least one thing was going my way at last. I just needed to find someone to escort me now, every other thing was already in place. It was already getting late so I decided to go home and resume my search tomorrow. I hope tomorrow will be more fruitful than today. I could not afford to waste any more time now.

As I walked the path that led home, I asked others about helping me out and I didn’t have much luck either. They all denied me just the same way they had done earlier.
