Chapter 97
Daniel’s POV
“I just hope my brother gets well before that time comes,” the white wolf said as we walked back to the gate.
“He will,” I assured him, patting him on the shoulder.
He managed a smile and looked at me, “have you ever at some point met my brothers?” He raised his brows, “Or one of them?”
I shook my head, “on battlefields, a nod here and there but personally? No.” I explained.
He nodded, “had they been around, I would have loved for them to meet you.”
“I would have suggested we go see the sick one but I guess we can’t leave the gate empty for too long, right?”
He agreed, “especially at crucial times like this.”
We weren’t more than six feet from the gate when we saw a werewolf in wolf form walking in.
“Hey!” The white wolf hailed, and instantly the wolf stopped.
We then raced it the rest of the way to the gate.
“Why don’t you turn and let’s talk man to man. What is your business here?”
