Chapter 10. Missing Each Other
Alexander bit her lower lip, asking for permission to plunge his tongue into her mouth. They forgot everything around them, lost in the warmth of each other’s bodies and the passionate kiss that they shared. Serenity eagerly opened her mouth to him and he deepened the kiss, exploring her mouth, tasting her thoroughly. Serenity let him dominate for some time and then she kissed him back fervently.
Her response excited Alexander, and he didn’t want the kiss to stop, but suddenly Serenity’s phone buzzed and she struggled to get free. He released her as she quickly steadied her breath to accept her brother’s call.
“Yes, Luke,” she breathed into the phone.
“What took you so long?” demanded Lucas suspiciously.
“I was making pasta, tell me.”
“Come home, now.”
“No, I’ll come in fifteen minutes.” Disconnecting the phone with an eye roll, she clicked a photograph of the pasta that she cooked while Alexander gave her a quizzical look, puzzled by her beh
