Chapter 14. Serenity's Confession

“Where can he go, Luke? It’s 9 o’clock already, and he has switched off his phone. What do we do with all this food? What will we tell mom?” asked a worried Serenity. She and Lucas had come to Alexander’s apartment an hour ago with his dinner that their mom had sent. They’d been trying his mobile phone for the last one hour, but he had switched it off.

Both waited worriedly and finally decided to leave his food with the building security guards and go home. Lucas had just walked up to the security guard’s office when a black Honda Accord screeched to a halt just outside their main gate.
