Chapter 29. Betrayal

Serenity was keen to go back to her apartment and returned by 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Unlocking her door, she went inside to see Alexander roaming around in just a pair of sweatpants, riding low. In her absence, he might have brought more clothes to change into.

“When did you return?”

“Ten minutes back.” he came closer and pulled her into his arms, nuzzling his face into her neck.

“I missed you, Serena.” His mouth attacked her neck, sucking and kissing it while she clung to him, her fingers weaving and massaging through his hair. He groaned, deepening the kiss to a new level, devouring her mouth like it was his meal of the day.

“I missed you too, Lex.” Her confession was enough to make him lose his restraint, and he just picked her up and carried her to the bed. She was so addictive that he thought about her the whole day making plans to marry her soon, but with the US Open of Surfing just six days away, he had an enormous responsibility over his head. H
